Privacy Notice
Ashlar Atelier Ltd ([Company No. 07XXXXXX]), of 14 Quarry Bench, Kingsholt, Gloucestershire GL1 4TN, is the data controller for personal information collected through this site.
What we collect: when you write to the studio we keep your name, contact details, and what you tell us about your project. The site itself collects only the anonymous usage statistics our hosting provider gathers by default. We set no advertising cookies and buy no tracking.
Why we keep it: to answer you, to prepare for the first call and the site walk, and — if we build together — to administer the contract. We keep enquiry correspondence for [24 months] and contract records for [6 years], as the law and our insurers require.
Who sees it: the eleven of us, our accountant, and nobody else. We do not sell, rent, or share your information for marketing. Where we use processors (email, hosting), they act under contract and within the UK/EEA.
Your rights: you may ask for a copy of what we hold, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it — write to studio@ashlar.build and you will have an answer within one calendar month. You may also complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office, though we would rather fix it first.
This notice was last revised in [January 2026]. If we change it, the revision table changes with it — that is what revision tables are for.
